Operations Training-Site Maintenance Breakdown

Module 2 – 2 weeks Field Expert

  • Maintain garbage and recycling receptacles
  • Ensure safety of Campground/Day use area
  • Ensure that all water taps, fountains, washhouses, showers and toilets are in good repair with drains running freely
  • Maintain Water posts and immediate area
  • Maintain parking lots and roadways
  • Maintain information Shelters and Signs
  • Bed making and cabin cleaning
  • Toilets/showers/change house building maintenance
  • Pit toilets building maintenance
  • Maintain trails, walkways, paths, steps, stairs and adjacent areas
  • Picnic shelters
  • Boat launch areas
  • Playground

Online Certificate Course

Module 3- 1 week maybe 2

  • Bear Awareness 2-3 hours
  • Fire Safety 1-2 hours
  • WHMIS 2015 2 hours
